Here you will find a general description of what is for homework. If you need a copy of the handouts, they will be uploaded to my link on the side bar. Once in the file, select the correct folder for what we are currently studying. Most handouts are there, however some may need to be picked up in class as I do not have a digital version.

Happy New Year!

ENG 9

We have begun a new unit- The Mystery unit. All students were given a reading schedule and should stay on top of the reading. We are moving through this novel quickly and will  have finished reading it by the end of the month. Please stay on top of your work.

Narratives were returned. If you have a chance please read their narratives. They were wonderful! Students had to interview someone, then write the story as if it were their story they were telling. We are in the final process and students will be sharing an oral "story" on Monday January 11 with me. They will retell one paragraph of their narratives to me orally. (Due Monday). ( In keeping with oral tradition, most stories were always told).

Homework for Thursday, read Chapters 1 and 2 of And Then There Were None.( Up to page 27). Students are welcome to download and listen to the novel or read it online. All students have a copy of the book.

ENG 11
Rewrites of Mice due Thursday.
Please hand in all drafts, rubrics and tell me why it is better.
