Here you will find a general description of what is for homework. If you need a copy of the handouts, they will be uploaded to my link on the side bar. Once in the file, select the correct folder for what we are currently studying. Most handouts are there, however some may need to be picked up in class as I do not have a digital version.

Hey everyone. I hope all went well on Friday. Your TOC should have given you plenty of time to work on your assignment and project. The plot line assignment is due this Tuesday so make sure you have it finished by then.

Dress warmly for the weekend and I'll see you on Tuesday. Bring your thinking caps because you will have one final warm-up activity before I count all the scores up. It's the end of the month so prizes will be won !!

Here are the instructions for the "Plot Line" assignment:

Front side

2) Think of examples in the story that connect to PLIT and place each one into the plot line
2) Think of examples in the story that present conflict and how it was resolved (aggression, change, cooperation, or compromise)
3) Draw pictures that connect with PLIT

Back side
1) Explain your choices of PLIT and how they connect with the story
2) Make T-T connections with what you have been learning in the Middle Ages with respect to PLIT

Today I assigned two things: the "Plot Line" assignment and the "Make a Game" project.

I know it seems like a lot, but you'll actually find the "Plot Line" assignment to be useful for the "Make a Game" project. Remember, the purpose of the game is to get your players to understand the plot of your novel. With everyone creating their own plot line, members of your lit circle group might come up with different ideas that you could use in the game. It all comes together!

Plot Line Assignment - Due Tuesday March 1
Make a Game Project - Due Wednesday March 9

You have no homework due next class.

No homework for Thursday. We will be going to the library during 2nd-period to work on your projects. Bring your agendas to use the computers. I will bring down the Macs as well so you have access to them.

I invite you to bring your hand-held electronics. The school Internet can be dreadfully slow sometimes so I would advise you to use your own devices for research purposes.

See you on Thursday,

Mr. Wong
