Find something off the Internet or from the library and bring a copy to class on one of the following groups. See if you can find something about their society, lifestyle and/or why they survived or were a strong society. The groups are The Vikings, the Franks, the Visigoths. the Anglo-Saxons, The Huns.

Finish, if you didn't in class with your partner explaining your images about the big ideas you found in Macbeth on the class blog.( Option is to print images and write about them on paper to hand in if you want).
Finish your reflection on the blog. What you have learned about Macbeth. (option is always to hand in on paper if you want).

Think about what the athletes said today. Can you make any connections to the robert Frost poem? Do you see how they are and have been on a personal journey. Be prepared to discuss this in your groups on Monday.

Post on teh Thisisdifficulttodecideblog. I believe you can link from the side bar of this blog to get to it.

List questions you want to address about power, ambition, humanity, self worth, integrity, or loyalty
From these questions write a piece that addresses those questions.
You are going to make sure you explain what it means in context to how you attain it, how you maintain it, ways it is used ways you could lose it etc.
Develop your explanations with evidence from your short stories and use specific examples to help explain and support your thesis. Compare and contrast how your stories reflect evidence to support your big idea. Remember to keep coming back to your big idea.
Another way to think about it is:
Where is your question situated in these experiences and how is it articulated and why?
